What made this hard, and how it was solved

Every school has one constraint that decides the whole week. Here is this school's.

The hard part

The building has five classrooms and ten classes to run through them. The only way that works is two shifts — and the moment you have two shifts, every room, every lab and the one sports ground is claimed twice a day by two completely different cohorts.

How it was solved

Morning (Classes 1–5, 07:30) and afternoon (Classes 6–10, 12:45) are two separate bells with their own period slots, not one long day cut in half. Because the shifts never overlap in time, Room 1 can legitimately hold Class 1 in the morning and Class 6 in the afternoon — and the shared science lab, computer lab, art room and ground do the same. The grid below shows both shifts on one timeline: each class only ever appears in its own shift's columns.

The actual timetable

Not a screenshot — the real grid, with the same four views the planner gives you. Pick a view, then a class, day, teacher or room.

One class, the whole week — the sheet that goes on the classroom wall.
